Bachelor of Computer Applications [BCA] - Course Overview

BCA or Bachelor of Computer Application is a 3-year undergraduate program in computer applications which is often seen as equivalent to B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Science. BCA course is open for students who have qualified Higher SecondaryExaminationwith a minimum of 45% marks. The course is usually divided into six semesters and admission to the same is generally done through Common Entrance Test conducted by respective institutes.

The average tuition fee for BCA  Course in India ranges from INR 1.5 Lacs to 6 Lacs for three years and average monthly salary offered to any BCA graduate ranges between INR 20,000 to 25,000

Some colleges prefer students from Science stream or those who have studied Mathematics and Computer Science at 10+2 level.
